We are all wired for connection, even if our wiring differs.
The Neuromystics™ Collective offers free, virtual peer support groups for us to gather in community with care.
Peer support is backed by decades of research showing that mutual, non-hierarchical connection can reduce isolation, regulate the nervous system, and build collective resilience, especially for those experiencing marginalization, chronic stress, or systemic oppression. Rooted in disability justice, peer support honors lived experience and shared insight as powerful sources of healing and wisdom.
Each group is gently facilitated by Alex Ulrey, MPH (they/them), founder of Neuromystics™, whose approach draws on over a decade of research and practice in medical anthropology, trauma-informed public health work, environmental psychology, and contemplative neuroscience.
You’re welcome to join with your camera on or off, and there’s never any pressure to share.
All support groups are free, held online, and include live transcription.
